The Second Regional Networking Symposium on innovations in Agricultural Advisory Services held 24-27 September, 2006 in Kampala, Uganda under the auspices of NAADS and this marked another significant milestone towards institutionalisation of SSANAAS. The success of the second symposium was in many ways a realisation of the biennial event of the SSANAAS.
As a further step to operationalize AFAAS, each member country establishes a Country Chapter. Accordingly, the Uganda Country Chapter was launched on 9th September 2008.
The evaluation is intended both for accountability towards donors, and for learning for AFAAS and the greater GFRAS community. The intended users of the findings and recommendations from the evaluation are the AFAAS Secretariat, the CFs and the donors.
